Steve is the Supervisory Examiner for NCUA Region IV. He started with NCUA in 1991 as an examiner headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. For five years, Steve worked as an examiner conducting examinations in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Oklahoma. He also served as a Fair Lending Specialist for the region. Steve earned a promotion to an Insurance Analyst position in the Regional Office in Austin in 1996. He served in this role for 8 years. In 2005, Steve received a promotion to Supervisory Examiner in Chicago, IL. In 2008, he transferred to Omaha in the same capacity. Steve now supervises a group of 10 credit union examiners and his group covers Nebraska, South Dakota, and half of Iowa.
