INSTRUCTORS
Patrick S. Jury
 Patrick was named president and chief executive officer of the Iowa Credit Union League in 2006. He also serves as the Chairman of AMC. In addition, he represents credit unions on the executive committee and board of directors of SHAZAM, Inc., the states EFT organization for financial institutions. Jury earned a masters degree in public administration from Drake University, is a graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management Program at Stanford University and has achieved the Certified Association Executive Designation (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives. Jury is the past president of the Iowa Society of Association Executives and serves as a director for CUNA Strategic Services.
Justin Hupfer
 Justin is CEO of the government and public affairs consulting firm PolicyWorks LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Iowa Credit Union League. He is responsible for the overall operations, business development and achievement of client objectives for PolicyWorks. Justin also oversees PolicyWorks' provision of government affairs services for the League and previously served as the League's vice president of government affairs. Prior to joining the League in 2000, he worked on the Republican caucus staff in the Iowa House.
Lynzey Tharp
 As director of government affairs, Lynzey leads the state and federal government affairs efforts for the Iowa Credit Union League. In this role, Lynzey is responsible for managing political action fundraising and implementing strategic advocacy campaigns to advance credit union legislative priorities. She also assists with other client needs at the statehouse.
Prior to joining PolicyWorks, Lynzey worked for the Iowa Finance Authority as a Program Specialist in the clean water division. Her previous experience also includes working in the office of Governor Tom Vilsack and in the Iowa Senate as clerk to Senator Joe Bolkcom.
Emily Caropreso
Emily is the director of public affairs & marketing at the Iowa Credit Union League. In this role, Emily coordinates media relations, legislative advocacy, social media, as well as provides support for community outreach, marketing and ICUL subsidiary companies. Her previous experience includes public relations for Meredith Corporation, GuideOne Insurance and the hospital industry. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and Iowa Society of Association Executives.

The last day for cancellations was February 6, 2012. Substitutions are accepted anytime prior to the start of the program at no additional cost.
