Small Credit Union Scholarships and Grants
Know Your Code for Education Discounts
If your credit union has less than $15 million in assets, you'll receive a discount on registration fees for most Iowa
events. On the "Complete Checkout" page in online registration, look for "Enter Promotion Code" and enter the code for
your asset size. Click on "Apply Promo" and your discount will appear.
- 25% discount for $10 million to $14.9 million, use 0925IACU
- 50% discount for $5 million to $9.9 million, use 0950IACU
- 75% discount for less than $4.9 million, use 0975IACU
Only one discount applies. If your shopping cart calculates a multiple attendee discount which is less than the small CU
discount, simply enter your small discount code into the promotional code box and hit "apply promo". The system will

Grants and Scholarships
Several grants and scholarships are available through the Iowa Credit Union Foundation to help credit unions attend

Credit unions under $20 million in assets receive discounts on CPDOnline memberships. Credit unions above $20
million in assets can also receive discounts, based on asset size, FTE count, and chosen membership options.

League President's Grant
The League President's Grant provides Iowa credit unions, their employees and their chapters with funding for national
schools, educational activities, community educational projects and certification programs. Funds are awarded twice a
year in January and July.
Small Credit Union Technology and Planning Grant
This grant allows Iowa credit unions under $15 million in assets to apply for funds to enhance their use of technology,
or for credit union strategic planning purposes by using a consultant/facilitator of their choice. Funding has been
provided through generous credit union contributions and the program is administered by the Foundation. All decisions for
awarding grant money are made by Foundation board members.
Small Credit Union Governmental Affairs Conference Grant
This grant allows Iowa managers and board members of Iowa credit unions under $15 million in assets to apply for funding
to attend CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, D.C. Funding has been provided through generous
credit union contributions and the program is administered by the Foundation. All decisions for awarding grant money are
made by Foundation board members.
